Rolls-Royce recalls ONE vehicle to repair airbags fault

In the recent months, numerous manufacturers announced that they would be recalling millions of vehicles in total, to fix various faults.Rolls-Royce Ghost

Rolls-Royce has just announced that it will recall a single “Ghost” vehicle to repair an airbag fault. Currently the vehicle, costing £231,730, is the only Rolls-Royce that’s affected.

Some are calling the recall “ridiculous” joking that the company felt left out due to the large amount of other manufacturers recalling their vehicles in the recent months. So if you want to sell your Rolls-Royce quick visit or search for we buy any car on internet.

It was announced, in a letter issued by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that a single Rolls-Royce Ghost manufactured in 2014 was being recalled.

According to the letter, the vehicle has thorax airbags fitted to both front seats that may fail to meet the side impact performance requirements for the front seat occupants. This means the vehicle may fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 214, ‘Side Impact Protection’.

The fault will be fixed free of charge by replacing the driver-side and passenger-side thorax airbag modules.

Currently it’s still unclear whether any other vehicles are affected however what is clear is the fact that Rolls-Royce cares about its customers. They could’ve just ignored since only one vehicle is affected so seeing them step up and take full responsibility is rather impressive.
